Localization Project Manager

Localization Project Manager - Greater LA Area

Our client is a Localization Services Provider specializing in Transcreation services with their US HQ in the Greater LA area. They currently have an urgent need for a Localization Project Manager with LSP or agency PM experience.

In this role you will be the first point of contact for clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships. You will own the entire project life-cycle, including preparing quotes for translation and transcreation projects, consulting with clients, working with our language managers implementing projects, recruiting linguists and helping to ensure linguistic quality of projects. You will also have the opportunity to work with our teams in Europe.

• Organized, multi-tasking and focused customer-oriented person
• Relationship builder, communicator and team player
• Not afraid to pick up the phone and looking to work in a Start Up environment with fast growth opportunities and hard work expectations
• 5+ years of experience at a major LSP in the US
• Tech savvy and fast learner of new tools and software with experience with SDL Trados and/or other CAT tools
• Knowledge of linguist recruitment and quality control methods
• Native speaker of a language other than English (Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese preferred)
• Great writing skills in English with a BA or higher
