Junior Sales Executive

Language Insight is a fast-growing translation and language services provider. Our experienced teams support clients across a wide range of sectors and are dedicated to delivering high-quality translation, transcription, interpreting, and various other language solutions to clients all over the world.

After four consecutive years of sales growth and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2019, we are now looking to expand our Sales team in the UK to help support our clients across the Market Research, Legal, E-learning, Finance, and Consultancy sectors.

Language Insight is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Sales Executive who is keen to start their career in the translation industry. The right candidate must be proactive, display a professional attitude, have the willingness to learn, and a desire to put clients first.

What does the role involve?

The primary role of a Junior Sales Executive at Language Insight is to develop new business relationships and to support our existing clients. This is a full-time role that is based at our London office. All candidates must have UK citizenship or EU Settled Status as we are unable to sponsor any Visas for this role, now or in the future.

As part of the Junior Sales Executive role, you will:

• Learning about all of the services that Language Insight provides to clients so that you can consult and educate existing and new clients.
• Understanding the process from quote to delivery for all services offered by Language Insight.
• Creating and developing lead lists for potential clients using various methods, including but not limited to: online research; referrals; personal investigation; and networking events.
• Creating sales plans detailing how you will generate new business and help grow existing accounts.
• Working towards targets and goals set by your manager to ensure your personal development and professional growth, whilst supporting our clients effectively.
• Generating new business by cold calling, attending meetings, sending emails, and networking.
• Managing client information securely using Language Insight’s CRM.
• Negotiating rates, deadlines, rebates, contracts, and terms with existing and new clients.
• Onboarding new clients and coordinating with colleagues across different teams and locations to ensure a seamless process for the client.
• Liaising with Operations and Project Management to ensure that all jobs are handled to the highest standards and are in line with our ISO accreditations.
• Preparing files and creating project handovers for your colleagues.
• Following up with clients to ensure they are satisfied with our services and support.
• Supporting your manager with RFPs / tenders and presentations for clients.
• Performing other projects or duties that the company requires when asked.

Salary

Base: £21,000 – £24,000

OTE: Will be made available to all junior sales members from their second year in the business

Bonuses: Bonuses may be provided in the first year, but this is discretionary and will be based on the company’s overall performance.
