Job Responsibilities

As a Localization Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather localization requirements and design comprehensive solutions tailored to meet the needs of diverse cultures and languages.
  • Architecting end-to-end localization workflows, including API integrations of content management systems, translation management systems, and other technology platforms.
  • Advising clients on best practices for localization strategy, considering linguistic, cultural, and technical aspects.
  • Evaluating and testing of AI-driven Machine Translation technologies and platforms and leading their successful integration into existing localization frameworks.
  • Defining and deploying localization standards, guidelines, and quality assurance processes to ensure consistent and accurate content adaptation.
  • Overseeing the integration of localization processes into existing development pipelines, ensuring seamless alignment with agile methodologies.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to the localization team, resolving technical challenges, and fostering continuous learning.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in localization and advising the company on their potential impact.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Localization, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, or similar roles within the
    localization industry.
  • Strong knowledge of localization concepts, methodologies, and tools, such as Translation Management Systems (TMS), Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, and Global Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Proficiency in programming languages and scripting for automation (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and microservices architecture is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Multilingual skills and cultural awareness are a significant advantage.
  • Experience working with multiple Translation Management Systems required.
  • Experience working with Plunet, XTRF or another Localization Project Management System required.
