Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Localisation Project Manager to join CultureVerse and our mission of using communications campaigns to ensure every Australian in our diverse community is included and represented. 

We are the specialist multicultural communications arm of Think HQ, a full-service agency committed to creating inclusive communications and working on projects that produce positive outcomes. We work closely alongside a range of experts, from public relations to creative to First Nations engagement. 

Your main responsibility will be to manage large scale translations and localisation projects, including, planning and execution. This includes overseeing, collaborating and motivating  a diverse team, and fostering a collaborative working environment with internal stakeholders such as team members from Localisation and Account services, as well as external stakeholders like freelance translators, community members, and clients. Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and find solutions to complex challenges is a must.Effective communication will be essential as you establish and maintain strong relationships with all parties involved.

This role will require you to operate at the intersection of strategy, team leadership, project management, resourcing, budget management,  linguistics, and innovation and process management, making it a unique and rewarding opportunity.

About the role

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Localisation Project Manager. Some of the knowledge and skills required for this role are:

About you

  • You have relevant industry experience in translation/localisation.
  • You have experience, or an interest in, working in a communication agency
  • You have minimum one year of working with multicultural communities across Victoria/Australia and/or other clients related to demographics, culture and languages.
  • You are a well presented, self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong attention to detail.
  • You have the ability to work well under pressure and within a team.
  • You have exceptional time management skills.
