Location: Central Europe/UK.

Type of contract: permanent, full time

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. We are seeking a results-oriented individual with a proven track record of selling translation and language-related services to financial institutions, and in particular asset managers, investment banks, insurers and real estate companies.


  • Canvass asset managers, retail and investment banks, insurers and other financial players to promote TALK finance and its services to targeted prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Develop and implement effective customer-centric sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend language and financial industry events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, market trends and competitor activities.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in a business development role in the translation and localisation industry with a strong focus on financial institutions.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, key account targeting and qualifying, winning new business and developing existing accounts.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Fluency in French and, ideally, German will be considered as a strong advantage.
  • Ability to create and drive business development strategies, including marketing campaigns and material.
