Financial Controller
Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller with extensive QuickBooks expertise to oversee their financial operations and supervise their Billing Coordinator. This position is in Argentina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by providing accurate financial information, insightful analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior management. In this role, you will supervise the Billing Coordinator, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition. You will be expected to streamline billing processes, implement best practices, and maintain strong internal controls. Your QuickBooks proficiency will be essential in managing the accounting system, generating financial reports, and ensuring data integrity.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership skills will be crucial in mentoring and developing the Billing Coordinator, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Responsibilities will include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, managing cash flow, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating with company’s external CPA to assist with month and year end preparation. You will also be responsible for developing and monitoring budgets, analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to enhance profitability and efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, maintain accurate financial records, and implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Your role will involve regular interaction with the leadership team, providing financial insights and strategic guidance to support decision-making processes.
