Business Development Manager

This is a remote, full-time position.

Reporting to the Client Solutions Director

 

Our client’s technology is the complete translation solution for enterprises, LSPs, and freelance translators. The system stores all linguistic assets and project data centrally, allowing users to collaborate on translation tasks, leveraging translation memory, and terminology in real-time. The flexible and automated workflow streamlines work and provide project managers with an up to date view of the project status. Our client’s technology is a modular system with an extensive web service API that allows integration with third-party systems. Our client’s Cloud technology is the SaaS version of the software, while our client Suite is the traditionally licensed application for installation on the client’s servers.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be a proactive business developer; you will develop key relationships with new

enterprise prospects and potential channel partners to exceed both individual and company

targets. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle from generating leads, assessing

requirements, and providing effective software demonstrations via the internet, to showcase

the benefits of our system. The role will also include preparing quotations, responding to

RFIs or tender documents and resolving any queries. Then post-sale you will be responsible

for managing accounts to ensure the customer gains the maximum benefit from the system.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Using sales skills to prospect new enterprise prospects
  • High-intensity proactive outreach
  • Mentoring junior members of the sales team
  • Developing our trade conference and exhibition strategy

 You are a great fit for this role if you have:

  • More than 3 years of' enterprise software sales experience or a sales background in

translation services or translation technology

  • A successful track record of exceeding sales targets
  • A university degree
  • Superb communication and relationship building skills
  • The ability to influence and negotiate with key decision-makers.
  • Strong ambition and drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the translation industry
  • The ability to learn about new technology quickly

 

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

Localization sector experience

Experience selling SaaS software a big plus

EXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION:

Full-time Permanent
