As the Talent Manager at Multilingual Connections, you will be responsible for the recruitment and management of our freelance partners, including translators, transcriptionists, editors, DTP specialists, voiceover artists and others. You will be part of our Talent Success team and will work closely with our production and quality management teams to ensure that project requirements are met and that suppliers are managed effectively. This position is open to candidates around the world and is expected to be fully remote.

In this role you’ll be expected to:

  • Actively manage our current partner profile database to ensure that data is accurate, functional, and validated 
  • Perform ongoing rate negotiation and maintenance
  • Evaluate and track partners’ performance and issues
  • Recruit new partners based on current and anticipated needs, including testing potential partners to assess specific skills and validation/verification of skills and competencies via other means, such as reference checking 
  • Collaborate with trusted linguists to evaluate candidates  
  • Compile monthly reports on talent recruitment 
  • Assist the production and quality management teams with specific talent requirements based on project pipelines
  • Monitor language trends at the company and fill any gaps in resources
  • Constantly seek new and creative opportunities for recruitment
  • Research advancements in the language industry to inform our recruitment strategy
  • Work with the operations department on talent paperwork, invoicing, and payments
  • Support the development of quality, testing, and partner engagement initiatives and collaborate closely with other Talent Managers for distributing workload and reporting to the Talent Success Manager

What you’ll bring with you:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in a language-related field or industrial/operational psychology
  • Strong organizational, time management, English communication and English
    writing skills
  • Initiative in developing and implementing efficient, creative solutions 
  • Commitment to professional customer service
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite; understanding of CAT tools (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Language industry experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (preferred)
