SeproTec Multilingual Solutions is currently searching for a US Director of Business Development for its main US office located in Austin (TX), with remote work options for those living in other US areas.

Reporting directly to the Global Interpreting Area Director, your main tasks will include:

  • Responsible for corporate business development in the US, focused on interpreting services, establishing sales targets by creating a sales strategy.
  • Identify and qualify companies for sales approach.
  • Build on-going high-level customer relationships within clients to provide the foundation for future value creation and servicing opportunities.
  • Assist in providing higher visibility to the company by participating in trade shows, conferences, etc.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned existing corporate customers from SeproTec.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Ensure that pricing levels negotiated with the customer meet a corporate target profit level, and (re)negotiate contracts as appropriate and within existing pricing structures for already contracted clients.
  • Create, train and lead a team of business development managers in the middle-term.
  • Set and manage budgets, cost controlling and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Report to the Global Interpreting Area Director regarding sales activity and results.


  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales and management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Localization industry.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven success leading a regional team.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • High level of responsibility and commitment.
  • Strategic vision and results orientation.
  • Availability to travel.
