Job Description

A global leader in the supply of localization solutions, is looking for a Director of Sales - a high achieving, exceptional, professional, driven and focused Life Sciences sales leader with experience of closing big ticket sales in an international business environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, new business, sales, and other matters related to profitable new revenue generation in the Life Sciences Business Unit
  •  Working closely with internal teams to add value to potential and existing clients by effectively aligning their goals with world class localization solution offering
  • Lead all tender or proposal activities, engaging the appropriate resources where necessary, generating a professional and timely response to the client
  • Support and leverage field marketing, product launches, product promotions and other lead or revenue generating activities
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Lead, motivate and energize internal and external team members to produce a winning sales effort
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions as necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Report on all relevant sales activity to the CSO

Preferred Requirements

  •  Minimum 10 years consultative sales experience within the localization industry
  • Experience of developing and maintaining multi-million-dollar client portfolios
  • Proven and demonstrable record of achievement in Life Sciences – pharmaceuticals and CROS
  • Extensive connections within the Life Sciences PLC localization vertical
  • Experience in negotiating and closing sales at executive level
  • Integrity, Ambition & Vision
  • Creative intelligence and a passion for customer success in regulatory space
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Third level qualification
  • Formal sales training, preferably CCS or Miller-Heiman
  • Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills
  • Competency with standard productivity tools and familiarity with CRM solutions, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Ability to attend meetings overseas at short notice
  • Effective time and personal productivity management
